Failure Club Episode 10: Meg

Meg wants to be a comedian.
Comedy, much like art, is a really late night activity.
Creatures of the night, aren’t understood by “normal” people. We are creative.

Share your dream with people who are really close to you.
Build the support group so they can join with you on this journey. Your support group will love you and support you. When you get out of that group, it gets scary. It gets lonely.

Perhaps that’s why artists like to hang around with each other. We know we are safe, and don’t have to put ourselves out of the comfort zone. For me I’m scared to death thinking I can sell comic books to clients. But I know it can be done and I’m going to find a way to do it.
