Morgan Spurlock, director of SuperSize Me, is now producing a reality show on Yahoo Originals called the Failure Club. The Failure Club was founded in 2004 by Gunil Chung, Philip Kiracofe, and 7 courageous friends.
7 years after trying to launch the series to TV execs. the Failure Club now finds it’s home on Yahoo! This will be a much needed series to give hope to failing.
“Why would anyone want to fail?” you ask.
Most people never even give themselves a shot at failing. 9 out of 10 of new businesses fail in the first year. That means you need to create 10 business to find success. All the biggest success stories are typically the biggest failures. Thomas Edison, Michael Jordan, Oprah, Tim Burton. The vast number of projects they produce, the % of success is very small. They just are consistently starting new projects.
You don’t know what you are going to be successful at, so you should give yourself a chance to fail everytime you can. Spurlock says, “We’ve all been told for so long in our lives the things we should be doing, that most of us don’t ever do the things we want to be doing. The moment we break down that one little piece that is holding you back, your whole outlook will change.”
Check out the Failure Club, start failing, and have the time of your life doing it!
